While working at Bosch Power Tool as an industrial designer, I developed concepts for variety of power tools: Belt Sander, Oscillating tools, Drills and Drivers. I’ve learned the ins and outs of these tools from the talented engineers I worked with.

The Oscillating tools concept was published at Autodesk Cave Conference. I was featured as one of the concept designers.

This 3.6V cordless drill was designed to be small and used on desk applications. Due to the size of the tool, we took a different path, to put all the major parts (motor and battery) into a “vessel” and slide them into the Aluminum tube, seal the tool from both end. So the product has no screws on the body.

I worked with 2 mechanical engineers and one electric engineer on this prototype. After 2 months of intensive development, we had a fully function working prototype.
